Common Sense Revolution Towards Stainless Steel Bottles

Why drink from plastic bottles and risk toxins leaching into your beverage when sustainable stainless steel bottles are toxin-free?  What about the monetary and carbon costs to you and the planet to create that plastic bottle of water for you?  And now, it typically costs over a dollar to get one 500ml bottle of water.  And here’s the kicker, only 3 out of 10 plastic bottles get recycled.  That’s 70% going to landfills and then waiting 450-1000 years to biodegrade.  The numbers are staggering.  It’s time to say no to bottled water and choose a stainless steel bottle filled with tap water from home.

I may be revealing my age, but as a child of the 1970’s I know that bottled water was not accessible like it is today.  I believe only Evian was available back then for about $4 a bottle and I remember joking about how foolish it was to actually pay for water when it’s free at home.  Read More→
