When it comes to eco friendly television shows, I don’t think anything can come close to the original green family – The Flinstones. I recently saw an ad for the newly released DVD that proclaimed “Curious George Goes Green” and it got me thinking: 1) I really didn’t think George’s footprint was all that offensive and 2) the Flintstone’s have always been green. They are truly the first eco friendly television family. Sorry Ed Begley Jr.
I mean, the Prius may be considered the prized jewel in the eco friendly car crown but how can it even compete with Fred’s feet? “Let’s ride with the family down the street.
