You can really pick up all kinds of ecofriendly living tidbits listening to Martha Stewart’s daily talk show.  For example, she recently talked about this product that will make going green easier and it wasn’t self-promotion.  The product was the Momentum Reel Mower from Fiskars. It is not only the ergonomic factor which makes this a good choice for the homeowner (not to mention the environment!) but it’s also good for them because of the additional exercise they get from the pushing to propel the mower.
