The Green MacGyver Eco friendly Crafts for Kids – Soup Can Pencil Holder
The summer months are passing us and you are looking for quick , easy, inexpensive eco friendly crafts for kids. This is an easy ecofriendly children’s craft because everyone has soup/tomato/ vegetable cans and kids loving making things their parents and family will use; thus the tin can pencil holder.
What you need for this eco friendly children’s activity is:
- A clean empty tin can
- Paint
- Ribbon
- Paint brushes
- Scissors
- Glue
Steps:
- Remove the label from the can, clean it out and dry it well
- Paint the can any color you like
- Decorate the can with shapes, stripes etc… anything you can think of with the paint. You can even use stickers if you have them around.
- An additional step is to glue boarders top and bottom of your can made out ribbon to help decorate it
This is a great craft that requires minimal adult help although supervision is always best when scissors are involved.
The beauty of this easy eco friendly children’s craft is that they can make them for various friends and family members as gifts or as party favours.
